Our founder, an industry expert and adventurer, struggled to find a product that met his needs as a fly fisherman and motorcycle enthusiast. Functional drinkware lacked style, while stylish options fell short on performance. It became clear that others shared this frustration — there was a growing demand for a product that balanced both form and function.
This insight led to the creation of bobber. Partnering with Yaroslav, an industrial designer known for blending technology with exceptional design, they assembled a team to bring this vision to life. With experience in designer furniture, high-tech gadgets, and sports cars, Yaroslav’s expertise in creating functional, beautifully designed products was key to realizing bobber’s philosophy. The result? A brand that sets new standards for performance and design, delivering the world’s best insulated drinkware.
The inspiration behind bobber’s design philosophy comes from the world of custom motorcycles — specifically custom-built "bobbers" that first appeared in the U.S. in the 1940s. Riders would strip down Harley-Davidson motorcycles, removing all unnecessary parts to make them as light and fast as possible. It’s a design philosophy we embrace: no excess, only what’s essential.
